Got a muñequita

Here I am, enjoying the holidays. And my little doll which Elisa gave to me when she came over to have mom kill the electricity with a Raclette grill. But I am enjoying myself immensely with my new toy.

Happy sexy dog

Ok, I reckon the haircut could be improved. But otherwise I am my own sexy self again.

Alive

After so many people having complained about my ugly wound, here are some cheerier photos of mine.
So, this is me playing Darth Vader ;-)
And here you see me trying to convince mummy to play ball with me. But whenever I try to lay it in front of her (spit it out), it just stays where it is... so strange.

What is left of me

Yes I am alive. But for the time being I am NOT kicking.

I have to take antibiotics every 12 hours, a light sedative as well. Plus every 8 hours someone has to clean my wound with jod.

I have to wear this ridiculous thing about my had. PLUS the wound has two small tubes coming out of it where some liquid is constantly running out.

And all because of a small burweed piece that got stuck in my pito.

I hate operations

Hi folks,
I just came back from the vet and I am still feeling kind of dizzy now. So just two quick fotos. I reckon I look like shit, but I feel like it as well. They had to cut open my guts, because a small plant had migrated in there. And the infection was really ugly. So now I have a 10 cm cut in my stomach. But I won't show you this one as of yet, because it hurts too much to roll onto my back.
Cookies are welcome!

I hate sushi

Somewhere my parents found this running sushi thing.
I hate it.
Sushi should NOT run around...

My hair is growing

... and I have the longest tongue in town. Just wanted to show off how cute I am, actually.

Pacoo on the computer?

As soon as Pacco learns to type with his paws... you'll probably see this ;-)

hot holiday

Sorry for not posting so long but I had a naughty infection and was on antibiotics for 10 days which kind of knocked me out. But now I am back alive and kicking. And I promise to post more soon ;-)

fixing my haircut

Hellooooo,
do you see the difference?
Mum re-cut my hair, because my head looked strange. So this is how I look now.

Hairdresser

You might have heard that Spain is a wam place. Much warmer than Flensburg (which is not THAT difficult by the way). Well, as I am from Kiel I have been born with a suitable weather protection to survive both rain and storm in Northern Germany.
Which is kind of superfluos in hot Barcelonean summer.

So today I visited a "Perruqueria canina" (dog hair dressers), and that's how I look like now!
Did you know that the floor in our home is actually heavenly cold? I can feel it now through the little hair that's left...

I love the Eurocopa

I really do! Not that I am so fond of football, but my Dad is. And that means that during the next four weeks he will be waching quite a lot of football games. And THIS means that I can cuddle up in his lap and let him scratch my tummy... hmmmmmm...

Excursion to Parque Vallcarca

OK, I don't know if we can call this an excursion, as it is only around the corner. BUT I had a lot of fun and run around like crazy. So now I am happy we are back home and I can have a little nap.
So here you get some pictures how good I am at bringing back different-sized pieces of wood.

Getting down is always easier than getting up, especially with such a big piece of wood, which kind of dragged me down the abyss...
But a real Pacco never surrenders. And I managed to bring the thing home.
See? It's HUGE!!! Bigger than my paws anyway. I am a HERO! At least.

Finally grown-up: my 1st birthday

Today, April 26th, is my first birthday. And, totally unexpected, Mum and Dad insisted in having a little birthday party: so here you see me waiting for them to finish their Happy Birthday song. The "cake" was smelling SOOOOO delicious! And of course singing was not enough. We also had some dancing. And still the cake smelling in front of me and the candle burning and I HATE fire on my plate. But I reckon I look kind of cute with that little ridiculous birthday hat ;-)
However, this was the part I had the most fun. Although it took only about 40 seconds to finish the plate.

By the way: I decided to ignore normal food from now on. This meat paté is much more delicious...

my newest command: "senta"

which you could translate as "do the squirrel" ;-)

Relaxing in BCN

I cannot deny that guarding the door is a hard job too... Thanks god we have no sofa yet, so the pillows are sometimes scattered on the floor. And as I am a smart dog, I might just grab one and pretend I am sleeping. They think I am just too cute and innocent and won't wake me up, hehe.

--> Comment: you smart dog you! I saw on the photo that your eyes were actually OPEN!

Barcelona is hot

... literally.

And we had sooo much to do. Paint the walls, set up the wardrobe, etc. I helped with painting as much as possible, although people around here seemed not to appreciate my intent to help dispersing the colour with my hair. I mean, a furry head comes in handy when you need an additional pinsel. But they wouldn't let me.

So, I resortet to guarding the balcony. You never know who comes through that door. Actually you can hear loads of other dogs barking Catalan out there, but I haven't seen one so far. Strange. So, in the meantime I keep guarding the door...

In Barcelona

I just wanted to inform everybody that I safely arrived in Barcelona, although I am not impressed with the state of our apartment.
We took off from Flensburg on Monday morning with my dad and my grandfather. Actually my granny was supposed to come with us as well, but then the mattress wouldnt fit. The difficult question "mother or mattress" was solved in favour of the mattress, which is why granny was left behind. I am really happy that I am just a tiny little dog and nothing would be able to replace ME!

Me, suffering in the car...

Anyway, the first day we went to Freiburg. 12 hours in the car. Of course I threw up this time. I just couldn't stand the swinging back and forth. But daddy was really cute with me and we did some extra breaks so I could take in some extra air. Then we slept at a hotel and took off again on tuesday morning to do another 1000km.
Safely arrived in Barcelona on tuesday night. However, the humans got totally lost in the city and even had quite an impressive fight about weather to turn left or right or where is the f****** apartment anyway... And just to make the arrival even more relaxing: my uncle Matt was there, however water and electricity aparently had not been connected yet. And the people who painted the walls left a whole lot of rubbish all over the apartment.

Even though, we managed to take everything out of the car and sleep within the dirty apartment to figure out everything else in the morning. The next surprise then was... they had taken grand-dads car to the police, because it was parked somehow wrongly. So, wednesday morning they went first to the police to get the car back (200 €), and then daddy had some conversations with the water company, electricity company and gas company. And he apparently was successful, because water is running already, gas is supposed to be reconnected today (so they can have warm showers) and the electricity... well we don't know yet but hopefully before Easter.

And mum and granny are coming tomorrow morning with the plane. I guess they were just too lazy to carry large boxes (not that I was particulary helpful in that respect... but it's the intention that counts. And I would have helped if they had any box my size!).

I hate packing!

So, my family is packing. Because we are moving to Spain, you know? And we will live right next to a BIG park and they'll have to take me out for a walk every day. Because they DO have to make up for this horrible chaos I am living in at the moment. Where once was a sofa table underneath it was heavenly to sleep... now there are only boxes, boxes and more boxes.
And I am not really happy about this box-business.

Plus, I was never afraid, that they would leave me here on my own. But that does not mean, they have to put me into a box as well, does it? Though I remember I was delivered here in a box as a baby. But by now I am definetly a grown up, so PLEASE! Don't mess around with me!

Ha! I know how to open a box by myself... though I might need a little bit help to get out of it ;-) And then I'll candidate for the US-presidency. I have the posture. And the grace! And I can represent all those hypenated people there because I am ShiTsu-JackRussel-Havaneser-Malteser myself.
Only that I am not American. And I am going to Spain. And they just voted for Zapatero again. So I might consider waiting another 4 years ;-)

Exams

So, not only my mom is in the middle of her exams. Daddy is demanding more of me every day as well. So, here is what I have learned so far (or at least some of it).

So, here you see me doing Sitz! ("sit"), Morto! ("pretend to be dead"), Hoch! ("Walk on two paws"), Platz! ("lie down") and Patinha! ("give paw").

Hibernation

Just in case you were wondering where I stayed all the time...
Well, I decided that this climate is not for me. And we will be moving only in April, so I can just sleep through... I just change position from time to time in order not to destroy my precious haircut.

So, sometimes you will find me on the floor, trying to imitate that carpet of my mom's.

And sometimes I prefer to be cuddled by daddy.
